The Fund

The Blewett community has created the Everest Legacy Fund that "supports children and families in the Greater Nelson Area by providing access to counselling, sports, arts, and community programs that foster healing and resilience."

Blewett Elementary School is sharing information about this community fund that is a legacy of a wonderful Blewett Elementary School student, Everest Conboy.  

Carrying Everest’s Light Forward

The Everest Legacy Fund is "to help Kootenay children, youth and families access opportunities that enrich their lives. Applications are open to children and youth ages 4 to 18 living in the Greater Nelson area (Electoral Areas E, F & H, approximately Balfour to Winlaw) and Castlegar (RDCK Areas I & J)."
