"Come Read with Me" Program - A Big Success!

Image

Good afternoon Everyone,

This last week was an exciting one. Eighteen parents came to our school to participate in the "Come Read with Me" program. Parents learned some great strategies to make reading fun with their child. Thank you to Joan Exely from the public library for facilitating this great program.

Students from each class began working together to organize our new recycling program. Thanks to the district maintenance department, we are able to sort our recycling for them to pick up each week. We ask that students practice the three Rs (reduce, reuse, and recycle). We’d also like students to take home any recycling that they bring in their lunches. Thank you for your support

Valentines day is upon us which means we get to dance! This Tuesday our PAC will host a Valentines day dance for grades 1-6 at long recess in the gym. Students can dress up if they wish, and the dance is not mandatory. We ask that each student donate to our BPAC as they are working to raise money for a new popcorn machine . Treats will be available for purchase at the dance as well.
