Earth Day!
Week of April 24-28
This last week at BES included a celebration of Earth Day! Students and staff spent time in their multi-age groups discussing ways to help our environment. Each student made a pledge/promise to do something specific to help Mother Earth. Thank you to Liv Hilde, our Aboriginal Success Teacher, who led a whole school assembly that focused on honoring the Earth and doing our part to make it a healthy and sustainable place to live.
A reminder that on Tuesday next week we will be taking class pictures and our whole school photo in the playground. Students should bring their smiles! ?
Early dismissal at 1:13pm on Wednesday and Thursday will allow for our student-led conferences. You can sign up to visit your child’s classroom and teacher through the following website: schoolappointments.com .
