This has been a fun month at Blewett Elementary School with guest performances and fun activities. 

Aché Brasil is a troupe out of Vancouver who are passionate and enthusiastic about engaging young people in learning about the culture, the traditions, the music and movement of the people of Brazil. The kids loved the capoira acrobatics!

BES hosted our annual "Welcome to Kindergarten" event. It was exciting to meet our new kindergarten families that will start school in September. Keep em coming, Folks! 

Thank you to all those who helped with our mulch sale. Students and families spent their Saturday selling pre bagged mulch donated by Kalesnikoff Lumber. Thank you everyone for your generous help and donations. 

A reminder that this Monday is our school based pro-d where staff will be in attendance to further our practice in teaching numeracy, literacy, and other important areas. Students will not be at school that day. 

 We would like to invite all Blewett School families (and new Kindi families) to our anual family barbecue happening Thursday, June 6th. We ask that families purchase tickets in advance for burgers, hotdogs, etc.. . Tickets will also be available to purchase at the event. 

Students have been taking advantage of the warm weather with lot's to do outside. I've added a few pictures below.
