Silver medalist, Jessica Hewitt, visitted Blewett Elementary School last week. Jessica competed in short track speed skatng in the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014. Students were excited to meet an Olympic athlete and hold a real silver medal. More importantly, Jessica talked about her experience getting to the Olympics and the importance of believing in yourself when you have a goal. Thank you, Jessica, for taking the time with our students.
