Spring Activities!
Spring activities have started!
For the next few weeks students will be participating in spring sports activities. Our K/1 class will be getting instruction from coaches from the Nelson Soccer Association. This will take place on our field and will be a fun introduction to the game of soccer. Ms. Verigin and Ms Walker's classes have already started their tennis lessons at the LVR courts, while our grade 4/5/6s make their first trip this week to Granite point for some puting, chipping, and driving. Please make sure your child has propper footwear, water bottle, and snacks for these activities.
Our Kindergarten students are starting to spread their wings! starting this week, the kindies will be allowed to roam freely around the school at recess. Teachers will give them an orientation around the property, showing boundaries and teaching them how to play safely in the new play areas.
Slava from Dance Fusion will be here this week teaching our students some new dance routines. She will provide three sessions at our school with a dance finale the kids can show off.
A reminder that this Tuesday at 5:45 pm is our monthly BPAC meeting in the library at BES. Pizza will be served!
