Fall is upon us and the turning leaves are breathtaking. I must say that “gratitude” is the theme of this month. Thanksgiving is just the right time to pause and consider all the good around us. 

I feel especially thankful for all the welcoming people I’ve met in my first month at Blewett Elementary School. Thank you, Everyone!

Terry Fox Day

It was an amazing Terry Fox Day on Wednesday! Thank you to Mr. Hammerich’s gr 5/6 class for organizing a celebration of Terry’s legacy. Blewett Elementary School is proud to announce that we surpassed our goal of $200 and raised over $450! Way to go Blewett families!

Our students had the opportunity this week to participate in a field trip to learn about the life cycle of the Kokanee salmon and its environment. Thank you to the amazing teachers at Kokanee Cr. Interpretive Centre for their lively and engaging activities with the kids!
